| 520 | _aThe rechargeable remote-controlled Agricultural Sprayer aims to provide help to the farmers and protect them from exposure to harmful chemicals and extreme heat. It has 7 major components; the remote control, which is an old PS3 redesigned to fit the prototype. A customized storage that can fill 15 liters of liquid chemical. A rechargeable battery. An electric diaphragm pump. A rubber wheel. An adjustable nozzle spray. Lastly, the electronic components which helps simplify the wirings of the prototype. Test results showed that the average distance the prototype can travel is up to 99-119 meters. The responsiveness of the prototype is computed using the percent error formula by combination pressing in the remote control, the data gathered is 0%. Dirt, silt soil, gravel, and concrete are the terrains where the prototype is tested. The computed PE for the dirt, gravel, and concrete are 0% while the silt soil has a PE of 67%. The spraying rate of the prototype is 0.4076L/min. This was done by getting the consumption of liquid chemical to finish a single land area which consumes 46 minutes of operation to a 65.475sqm and consumes 18.15 liters of liquid. The prototype was evaluated by 30 respondents’ experts in farming, mechanical engineer, and electrical works and was rated 4.12 with a very good descriptive rating. The prototype was proven to be functional, however, it struggles to move to silt soil and needed to checked if the prototype needs to turn since it does not have any surveillance while operating. | ||
