520 _aThis study, Development of oil suction equipment limited for front-wheel drive, aims for faster draining of oil with an average time of 1 minute and 40 seconds up to 2 minutes per liter. The prototype sucks engine oil, transmission oil, and differential oil at the same time so that the time consumed is less. The main target of this study is a small automotive workshop. The prototype works. First, the user needs to plug the Teflon tube into the inlet of oil in the engine, transmission, and differential. Then the user uses the manual rotary pump’s suction power; the user rotates the handle of the rotary hand pump from clockwise to counterclockwise to suck manually. While suctioning, the used oil will be stored in a polypropylene container. Then, the prototype undergoes a series of testing procedures. However, the benefits of this study target small automotive workshops only. Then, the project was evaluated by 25 evaluators, such as automotive professors, students, and technicians. The prototype got a 4.52 total mean, which is equivalent to an excellent remark. This demonstrates that the strategy is advantageous to all students, professors, and automobile mechanics working in small shops.
