520 _aThe study focused on Aimsun Next Software to simulate the impact of the Metro Manila Subway Project (MMSP) on Bonifacio Global City as a transportation system. The information was gathered by conducting an online survey on various social media platforms using Google forms, requesting data from the Bonifacio Global City Traffic Management Bureau and the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), lastly use feasibility study done by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) as a reference. The study used a microscopic/macroscopic traffic simulation modeling software application called Aimsun Next to compare the before and aftereffects of the Metro Manila Subway Project when it is built in the study area. Aimsun Next provides a realistic and detailed overview of the status quo of traffic flow, as well as acceleration and deceleration of surrounding behavior. The study reveals that once the MMSP is built and at full capacity and service in the study area, traffic volume and road congestion will be reduced by 30%. Furthermore, the MMSP was chosen by 97.2 percent of commuters as their first mode of transportation to Bonifacio Global City, according to an online survey. As a result, this study recommends that expanding mass transportation can provide a significant reduction in the Philippines' never-ending traffic congestion problem, as well as a significant boost to economic growth.
