| 520 | _aThe study aims to provide training equipment as a brake system simulator unit, especially in local technical schools, similar to TUP Lopez, where courses in automotive engineering were conducted. This prototype addresses problems faced by students and trainees with limited training equipment, while providing a complete knowledge base and solid foundation for anyone entering the field of automotive engineering. This allows you to perform related activities such as: Fluid extraction, brake component identification, leak testing, associated brake component assembly, disassembly, and troubleshooting. This also improves the knowledge and skills of students and trainees. It has the characteristics of a modern car braking system and is easy to use. It consists of major parts such as disc brakes, drum brakes and brake master cylinders. Test results showed that the system worked as a braking system simulator unit and worked efficiently. The prototypes developed were evaluated by a panel and five judges made up of professional drivers. The mean GPA was 4.5 and the descriptive rating was 'very acceptable'. This means that the developed prototype will be useful for students in terms of training unit. | ||
