520 _aThis study aims to evaluate "WebSync," a web-based task management tool designed to enhance collaborative problem-solving (ColPS) skills among students in the BSIE-ICT and BTVTED-COMPRO & EST programs at the Technological University of the Philippines. The purpose of this research is to address the challenges of collaboration in group coding projects and provide insights into improving task coordination and team communication. A mixed-method design (Qual-Quan) within the framework of design-based research was employed. The study involved 169 students, with data collected through interviews and survey questionnaires based on the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This methodological approach enabled a comprehensive analysis of both qualitative and quantitative data. Findings revealed that communication, task delegation, and real- time collaboration are the primary challenges faced in group coding projects. WebSync was rated as “moderately acceptable,” showing strengths in task coordination and team communication. However, areas needing improvement were identified, including device compatibility and cross-platform functionality. Furthermore, age differences significantly influenced students’ perceptions of the tool.
