520 _aThe study, Development of Heat Treatment Furnace Using Used Oil For Forging Process, aimed to enhance the etticiency and sustainability of heat treatment in forging operations. This innovative equipment utilizes recycled oil as heat sources, optimizing energy use while reducing waste. The design integrates advanced thermal control systems to achieve precise temperature regulation, essential for achieving the desired material properties in forged products. Testing demonstrated the system's effectiveness in maintaining consistent healing profiles, crical for uniform material reaimeni. Performance evaluations indicaied that the heat treatment equipment operated with high reliability and efficiency, receiving an overall mean rating of 4.8 from a panel of industry experts and trainees, highlighting its practicality in real-world applications. The system acquired an overall mean rating of 4.75 and a descriptive rating of 'highly acceptable' from 40 evaluators: welding shop workers, TUP faculty personnel, welding students, electronic students, and a TESDA professor from the Technological University of the Philippines Lopez Extension Campus. The prototype, built with locally sourced materials, measures 63 cm in length, 64 cm in width, and 204cm in height, making it suitable for various forging environments. It signifies that the system is helpful in all welding shops, students, and trainees in achieving and maintaining the heating and mechanical properties of metals. This develonment presents a significant advancement in forging technology, promoting both quality and sustainability in the industry.
