520 _aThe study “Aglioreza: A Security Kiosk at TUP-M Lobby Incorporating Bio--composite Components from Garlic Peels” explores the use of eco-friendly materials in creating a functional security kiosk for the TUP-Manila lobby. It focuses on turning garlic peels—normally agricultural waste—into bio--composite panels by combining them with resin for use in furnishing and structural applications. Using an experimental-developmental approach, the research covers material formulation, fabrication, and mechanical testing, while the design process considers ergonomics, user convenience, security needs, and visual harmony with the campus environment. Through the survey, the developed product was able to achieve a weighted mean of 4.81, which is classified as ‘Excellent’ through our modified rating based on the Likert scale. Overall, Aglioreza demonstrates how bio-based materials can be applied to real-world industrial design and encourages further exploration of locally sourced agricultural byproducts.
