The barangay which is a small administrative group in the Philippines has always been
present in serving its barangay residents the needs that may need in their daily life.
Struggles are present in terms of the continues manual process of different barangay
services and lack of barangay monitoring in different reports. In response to this problem,
the study “Developing Barangay Management Information System in NBBS Proper,
Navotas City”, was designed to streamline and enhance efficiency of administrative
processes in the barangay, addressing key functions such as resident profiling, barangay
clearance issuance, record management, and community engagement. The system was
evaluated using the ISO 25010 evaluation instrument based in the Functional Suitability,
Performance Efficiency, Compatibility, Usability, Reliability, Security, Maintainability, and
Portability to determine the level of acceptability of the system. The results indicates that
the system is highly functional, with features that satisfy the required outcomes under
various conditions working as intended within the specified circumstances obtaining an
overall grand mean of 4.39 described as Strongly Agreeable from the thirty (30)
respondents. The showed that developing a barangay management information system for
a barangay improved the barangay services and generation of reports.
