The main objective of the study was to design and develop an Android-
based Classroom Management Application named Classela that provides the following features: gamified assessment of students, dashboard for the analytics of student performance, user’s accounts for parents to monitor the progress of their children and built-in group chat for teachers and students.
This study was limited to the development and evaluation of the android-based classroom management application that was used in Hybrid Flexible (HyFlex) learning. Fifty (50) respondents from Victorino Mapa High
School with different computer backgrounds were selected to evaluate the said application composed of (15) regular teachers, (5) ICT Teachers and (30) selected students. The evaluation was based on ISO 25010, titled “Systems and software engineering – Systems and Software Quality Requirements and
Evaluation (SQuaRE) – system and software quality models”. It has achieved the following weighted mean for each criterion; Functional Suitability- 4.93, Performance Efficiency- 4.85, Compatibility- 4.88, Usability- 4.86, Reliability- 4.88, Security- 4.85, Maintainability-4.90 and Portability- 4.81 with an overall weighted mean of 4.87 (Highly Acceptable). It can be concluded that the android-based classroom management application was successfully designed and developed as a class management tool for students, teachers, and parents utilizing Android studio, Java, Kotlin programming, and Firebase.
