The objective of this project is to create and implement an automated rack storage that<br/>incorporates QR code technology, a database, and CCTV monitoring to offer a functional<br/>and efficient storage solution. The process started with ensuring a clean/minimal hazard<br/>work area, turning on the storage rack, and then familiarizing users with the manual and<br/>database interface of the storage rack. Users would scan QR codes to access compartments,<br/>which would unlock solenoid locks, allowing users to take out various items, with all<br/>actions logged into the cloud database. The components of this system are QR scanner<br/>module, control panel, data logger module and Wi-Fi module for real time monitoring.<br/>Testing procedures involved functional, performance, and system monitoring tests,<br/>confirming that the QR code scanning system, control interface, data logging, and<br/>compartment doors worked and were functional. Further tests confirmed that the manual<br/>bypass lock had operated properly, in the event of power outages, and that the Wi-Fi<br/>module had transmitted the data correctly. To evaluate the project's effectiveness, a survey<br/>was conducted with 30 respondents consisting of storekeepers, supervisors, maintenance<br/>workers, and students. Evaluation criteria included functionality, aesthetics, workability,<br/>durability, economy, and safety. Results showed a high level of satisfaction as the<br/>prototype received an overall rating of 4.68 which was excellent.
