This project study entitled Development of Foldable Line Table for Screen Printing aimed<br/>to provide a convenient and budget-friendly line table that is suitable for small or medium<br/>scale screen printing businesses. This project maximizes and minimizes the limited space<br/>in a production area because of its ability to be folded. The overall dimension of the<br/>foldable line table is 1,774 mm x 895 mm x 770.8 mm and is made up of black iron steel<br/>for sturdiness. The equipment has two sets of foldable line table, and each set of line table<br/>can be linked together using the metal connector. It consists of eight stations which<br/>connected to its base, and each station has flatbeds or plate. In addition to that, the project<br/>also has caster wheels to be able to move and transport to other places. The equipment can<br/>accommodate eight t-shirts per operation. Technical experts evaluated the machine in<br/>screen printing, faculty members and students of Graphic Arts and Printing Technology<br/>(GAPT) to determine the level of acceptability based on various criteria such as<br/>functionality, aesthetics, workability, durability, economy, safety and saleability. The<br/>results of the evaluation show an overall mean rating of 4.43 which has a descriptive<br/>classification of “Very Acceptable.” The results proved that the foldable line table applies<br/>to all professional or non-professional screen printer operators. |
