Summary, etc. The primary aim of our research is to reduce food waste that would otherwise<br/>decompose in landfills by exploring an alternative and sustainable use for Saba banana<br/>peels—specifically, as a component in the production of edible straws. A key technical<br/>objective of the study is to develop an efficient machine that minimizes human intervention<br/>throughout the production process of the edible Saba banana peel-based straw. The study<br/>also identified the optimal material composition, temperature settings, and design<br/>requirements for the machine components. By integrating these elements, the project<br/>demonstrates the potential for environmentally friendly production of edible straws made<br/>from banana peel waste. The outcome highlights a viable solution that aligns with<br/>sustainability goals through a carefully structured and time-bound production process.
