Summary, etc. Traditional approaches to teaching Swedish massage often fail to<br/>effectively engage students or foster the development of practical skills. This<br/>design-based research study aimed to create and assess an Interactive Booklet to<br/>enhance student engagement and competency in massage therapy. Utilizing a<br/>purposive sampling approach across four phases, data were collected through<br/>semi-structured interviews and focus group discussions. The study involved the<br/>development of an interactive booklet that combined theoretical concepts with<br/>interactive activities.<br/>The iterative process led to the identification of design principles that can<br/>guide the future development of instructional materials. Pilot testing showed<br/>notable improvements in student engagement and comprehension of fundamental<br/><br/>massage techniques. The findings suggest that integrating such interactive e-<br/>booklets into technical education curricula could improve learning outcomes, with<br/><br/>further research recommended to assess their long-term impact on student<br/>performance and mastery of the techniques.
