Along with the continuing pursuit for inclusive and progressive economy,
the right and effectivity of full inclusion and participation in the community of all its
citizen including the vulnerable groups specifically the persons with disability
persist a continual quest for acknowledgment, which further exacerbates by lack
of implementation and medium of standards and policies expounding in societal
and economical and accessibility aspects.
This work explores the key challenges entailed in the barriers, disparities,
accessibility of persons with disability and potential workforce utilization. Further
assessment pointed to the aspects of the need for an establishment or
intervention of a regional CALABARZON Region, recognizing the nation's highest
marginalized subject’s population and the imperative for targeted action.
Through this, the future Architects of the twenty-first century, the researchers
grabbed the opportunity to establish an avenue complex of empowerment that
objectively solidify international to national agencies initiatives, convergence and
frameworks in Lipa, Batangas CALABARZON Region specified to the resilient
opportunities and inclusive development strategies promoting specifically the
working-age capability and potentials of persons experiencing physically
challenges including speech, hearing, cognitive, visual and orthopedically to their
integration or reintegration into society. Examining the dynamics and acquiring a critical perspective on how the complex
infrastructure will stand its operation and functionality are the utmost importance
of this study. Emphasis is built on integration of both qualitative and quantitative
research methods in addressing and understanding the in-depth subject’s
consideration- recognizing the diversity of disabilities and the corresponding
variability in solutions; employing a mixed-methods research design, utilizing
interviews and surveys of the highlighted community, Spaces – plan analysis and
recommendations and stakeholders associated with resource and training
centers.
This study serves as a pivotal bridge towards comprehensive training and
development for Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) which positions itself as a
cornerstone for community improvement. Serving as a reference and converging
point, that addresses existing program deficiencies, promotes collaboration with
local and international organizations offering diverse vocational training
programs, and envisions a comprehensive program framework tailored to the
unique preferences of individuals with disabilities and the ultimate goal of
equipping with knowledge and skills necessary for equal employment prospects
or independent field potential, advocate for inclusive employment, and provide
essential information for shaping future policy priorities aimed at enhancing the
overall quality of life for the disabled population. Through these multifaceted
initiatives, the study strives to contribute to the long-term and sustainable
development of the community, fostering inclusivity and empowerment for all.
