Summary: This study centered in developing a web-based Barangay Management and Information System for Barangay 256 in Tondo, Manila equipped with SMS Notification. It was undertaken to address the reliance of manual and paper-based of overall baranagay operations in the baranagay. The project aimed to create a centralized platform to enhance the efficiency of the barangay administration and service delivery. The system integrates various functions, including record management, document requesing, lending services, inventory tracking, blotter and complaints. It supports three distinct user roles— Administrator, Barangay Staff, and Resident—each with specific access and previliges to maintain security and role-based functionality. Administrator oversee the entire system, Barangay Staff are provided with limited administrative capabilities, and the Resident can requesr documents, track service statuses, submit complaints, and stay informed through barangay announcements. The system is designed for accessibility across desktop and mobile devices enhances convenience for users. Upon completion, the system was subjected to evaluation where it achieved a grand weighted mean of 3.63, described as ‘Highly Acceptable’. It was successfully deployed, demonstrating its potential to significantly streamline barangay processes, improve operational efficiency, and facilitate more organized and accessible information management for barangay officials and constituents.
