Using descriptive research design and quantitative techniques, it examines individual and workplace variables that affect employee and workplace engagement. Data was collected from 200 respondents through questionnaires administered via Google Forms, focused on demographics, culture shock factors, and engagement levels. The research questions focus on the role of individual factors, employee engagement factors, and workplace engagement factors in the adjustment process of Generation Z employees. It examines the ways in which these factors influence self-performance, work-life balance, and productivity that are central to reintegration into the workforce. As a result, the research offers a comprehensive analysis of the difficulties faced by the members of Generation Z at their first workplaces and the ways they manage them. Therefore, presenting the factors that explain their cultural experiences, the study offers the view on how organizational culture is changing at a time of adjustment. It reveals the necessity of positive attitudes and policies in organizations, effective leadership, and supportive policies for new employees. Also, it recognizes the key importance of adaptability as a key to engagement and productivity. Keywords: Culture Shock, Generation Z, Metro Manila, Employee Engagement, Workplace Engagement
