Summary, etc. The integration of technology in education is crucial for fostering essential<br/>skills like programming, but many students struggle with control structures like<br/>sequence, selection, and iteration. This research focuses on creating and testing<br/><br/>CodeQuest, a web-based quiz tool that uses game-like features to foster BSIE-<br/>ICT students' CTS in C# programming language. The study was conducted at the<br/><br/>Technological University of the Philippines and used a design-based research<br/>study of mixed-method embedded design. The first phase revolved around<br/>Problem Exploration and Identification (Qualitative), involving a semi-structured<br/>interview with students' lived experiences, revealing challenges, nested loops, and<br/>the need for interactive, engaging resources. The second phase, design and<br/>development, focuses on developing and designing CodeQuest. Phase III Iteration<br/>and Evaluation (Quantitative) showed high satisfaction levels with CodeQuest.<br/>Overall, the study underscores the potential of gamified Quiz Tools like CodeQuest<br/>in making programming education more interactive and engaging. Future<br/>improvements could focus on enhancing CodeQuest based on feedback and<br/>conducting studies on the long-term impact of the gamified quiz.
